Abstract
Rebecca Schneider discusses the use of empathy as a method of increasing brand engagement and how to represent this in a more formalised manner via a taxonomy or metadata schema so that tags can be applied to rich media. The importance of regional, cultural and socioeconomic context to user experiences is also considered.

Rebecca has Executive Director, Content at AvenueCX and is an expert in taxonomies, metadata, and enterprise content strategy.
